I recently read "Who Moved My Cheese?" by Spencer Johnson. Do yourself a favor and read this book. I often struggle with accepting change. But change is happening all the time in some area of my life. So, I really work to get outside of my comfort zone and adapt to it. This book was SO motivational. It fueled my inspiration to get out there and really market my business and connect with people who I really feel I can help.
Fear can hold us back from so much! It can be so powerful. So, lately I've been more aware of my moments of fear-based reactions. I've been reminding myself to move through the fear and not let it win. I'm also looking at crap situations as indicators that change needs to happen. If I don't ignore my indicators, then sometimes I can get in front of the situation and make the changes I need. Also, not burrying my head in the sand and ignoring the signs helps me ride the waves of change much better.
My life experiences really do inspire the direction in which I take my business. I often tell myself, "one day you'll be able to help someone else with this". So, face the fear. Move through each challenge. Because you never know where they will take you one day.
